Separate activity from quality

Completed jobs show activity; rework, inspections and client exceptions show whether the service was delivered to the required standard. Keep those signals visible together.

Connect labour to contracts

Compare planned hours, actual hours and missed or late tasks by site or contract. The goal is not to reward a low hour count; it is to find where the plan and service requirement no longer match.

  • Use one site identifier everywhere.
  • Record the inspection date and reviewer.
  • Explain any manual adjustments.

Define the starter measures

Write down what counts as completion rate, inspection pass rate, rework rate, planned versus actual labour hours, unresolved complaints and overdue actions. The definitions should fit the contract rather than pretend to be universal.

Turn exceptions into follow-up

A useful dashboard makes overdue inspections, unresolved complaints and expiring contract actions easy to find. It should support a conversation, not pretend to replace operational judgement.
